S&T Awarded Rookie of Year, 3rd Place at Lake Geneva Final Banquet (2/4/07)
It
was a wonderful evening with friends and track staff at the "Final"
Lake Geneva Season Banquet at Rumpole's in Twin Lakes, WI.
S&T
Racing's Michael Shorten stepped up to the podium to accept both
Rookie of the Year and Third Place finish for the Weapons Division at
Lake Geneva Raceyway.
"First, we'd like to thank Kevin Dawson
and everyone at Lake Geneva for giving us a fantastic final season of
racing." Michael said. He went on to thank family and friends for all
their support, as well as S&T's loyal sponsors.

all your support and words of encouragement from 2006. We're hoping for
a break in the weather so we can start to get ready for an exciting

It may be the middle of winter (it's currently 4 deg, -16 windchill) but the
offseason is heating up for the Rockford-bound S&T Racing team.

Tonight, Feb 2nd, it's all over with the last ever Lake Geneva Season
Banquet. The S&T Team will be in attendance to wish the track, Kevin Dawson -
the promotor, fellow racers and fans a heartfelt farewell. We'll be accepting
our award for 3rd place in the Weapons Division and congratulating Andy Kreuger
for his championship award. We'll be sure to post pictures and comments in the
coming days.

us kick off our 2007 Sponsorship Challenge!
Dale Danielski put on a great Sponsorship workshop at the Jan Racer's Auction in
Rockford and we signed up for his help. Part of that help is also a change
coming soon to the S&T Racing website! The old site isn't what she used to be,
so we're getting some help and redoing the site soon.
So that's about it from Mundelein, IL - we're looking at an exciting start of
the season.
